President Obama's taped statement: March 22nd.

Eric Holder's testimony: May 3rd.

Time between: Minimum of six weeks. As President Obama's statement indicates that he talked to Eric Holder about it *before* he made the statement, the time between would have to be more than that.

It becomes a bit hard to believe that Eric Holder would not remember a very embarassing conversation with the President, in which he admitted ignorance about a significant program within his own department.
