I like Herman Cain, I do not like 999. But it would not prevent me from gladly pulling the lever for him over the Prince.
Same here, clear case. My recovery included my first vote for a Republican for President in 1996.
I’m just sayin’, as I’m reading “Road to Serfdom” (in the process right now), I’m seeing SO MUCH that Hussein is following the path of dictators/fascists. Hayek is laying it out so clearly...and we are repeating that history.
None of the RINOs will do that—even if they’re not your (or my) ideal version of a conservative.
If you haven’t look at Road to Serfdom, I encourage you to do so. If you HAVE read it, and still don’t think it is important to remove Hussein next election day, then I feel you should read it again. :)
Here is a comic book version if you don’t know what I am talking about: http://mises.org/books/TRTS/
Cheers!

P.S. Your vote for Bush wasn’t wasted: can you imagine how pussified our reaction would have been if AL GORE had been in the White House on 9/11?
Romney loves himself, and is willing to be a windsock to get ahead. Fortunately, we can probably make the windsock blow in the right direction with a pubbie senate and house. He has no spine, he will not stand up to anybody including the tea party. Still, we need to fight tooth and nail to make sure he is not the nominee.
Outside of the South could our dilemma be that virtually ALL our candidates are liked and not sliced up 5 ways from Sunday? And liked much more than Obuma! Like it’s still wide open. Of course, the media crush machine has not yet approached Cain, or Romney. Whoever Rubio would jump in with wins? Yikes.
President Cain is Able.
I understand your sentiment...and will admit it’s possible I could come around. Right now, though, if Myth’s the nominee I’m going 3rd party.
Hank
Cain does not support audits of the fed reserve
Don’t believe everything the Paul supporters want you to.
Cain said Pauls fan have stretched the truth by accusing him of not wanting to audit the fed.
I have never said that, Cain wrote. I have said: I dont think youre going to find anything to audit on the Federal Reserve. But they want you to believe that Herman Cain doesnt want the Federal Reserve to be audited.
Call Hank Jr.! Put that to music and you have the anthem for the rise of a new Republican party.
I just responded to a poster who said Perry has #3 or #4 'locked up'. lol!
Funny thing is, he and I both thought that a good thing albeit for differing reasons. :-)
Mitt is a pure Statist at heart - it's in his DNA. Mitt will do NOTHING to turn our Republic towards Liberty. I will write in a name it it's Mitt. I can NEVER vote for that Liberal.
Maybe Romney looked different to Mr. Cain three years ago?
LOL...
Cain must be pulling ahead; I saw where Letterman plans to mock his 9-9-9 plan on tonight’s show.
Those of us in Bachmann camp have also moved on to the Cain train. I still love what Bachmann stands for. Cain is just more likable, confident, gregarious, great sense of humor, connects really well with any audience. I also like his experience in the real business world. Romney is stiff and reminds of a mannequin. Perry needs to carry 5 hour energy shot drinks with him, and get away from defending college tuition to illegals and stop opposition to building a fence. I guess Perry does not want to lose Hispanics in Texas. However if Cain falls by the wayside, I may have to go with Perry, as the next anti-Romney.
I think (hope), we (must) all agree on that....
We are of like mind.
Ya know what? Romney's and his family are respected in business and political circles. Hussein? 'nuf said.
Romney showed his respect and love for the nation by employing thousands of people in the private sector, serving as a governor and as the director of the 2002 Olympics.
Hussein has never employed anyone in the private sector, he never served as a governor or executive of ANYTHING until he seized power in Novmeber of 2008, and did *squat* in the non-profit/public service sector. The difference between Hussein and Romney is as vast as the gulf between, say, acid rock and disco. You may not enjoy either one--but one you can at least dance to.
I'm not here to defend Romney--since clearly you believe you're prescient regarding motives and actions, and clearly since you've NEVER changed your mind regarding your beliefs--I'll stop engaging.
Most of us mere mortals aren't as pure and wind-driven as you.
I'll just offer up the simple observation that Hussein hates America, the whole field of Republicans DO NOT hate America, and I'll let you alone to continue turning water into wine and preaching to the Pharisees.
PTL!
