Yes, I just read a similar article where Barbour said he thought Cain could sweep the South.

Different names, different pair, different party, SAME AGENDA!
Romney/Christie would resurrect the old Laurel and Hardy phenomenon again however.

Barbour is GOP establishment — this is quite encouraging to see him supporting Cain.

Haley Barbour is an establishment Republican.
When he said he wouldn’t run, we had plenty of folks saying, good, another insider we don’t want, isn’t running.
The smart money says, be wary instead of jumping for joy, depending on who it is and why they are cozying up.

Art Laffer just appeared on “Special Report” with Bret Baier, on FOX. He heartily recommended Herman’s 9-9-9 Plan, and gave an excellent defense against the charges of increased taxes and higher taxes!

I bet you Barbour will change his mind when he finds out that Cain is talking about a flavor of ice cream the MSM can’t find.

I think this is genius on Barbour’s part. Why? Glad you asked.
It sends a message to the establishment that Cain is for real.
It puts pressure on Perry, Gingrich, even Romney to do something, say something that boosts their chances...like Perry’s forthcoming energy plan?

RE: I think this is genius on Barbours part.
Could it be that he’s secretly being eyed for the VP slot?

Actually, the original story in The Hill (linked by Hotair) was corrected; Barbour actually said his wife would vote for Cain.
This article was corrected at 5:20 p.m. to reflect that Gov. Barbour said only that if the election was held today, his wife would vote for Cain.
