...case in point... Robert Dole, John McCain. Those nominees sucked, but no one could agree on anyone else. Damn shame because I favored Forbes, lousy candidate though he was.

Many of us will vote Republican in November, only because we cannot, in good conscience, vote for Obama or Clinton. The Republican establishment knows this, and knows because we are principled, we can not do otherwise.If Romney gets it, not this time - I won't play their game (think Samson and the temple).

Newt Gingrich rightly asked Mr. Romney why his capital gains cut stops at incomes above $200,000a total economic absurdity, especially for anyone who purports to know "how the economy works." Mr. Romney's standard reply is that the "rich can take care of themselves" and he's all about "the middle class." But that's Barack Obama's divisive view. And despite two bipartisan commissions explicitly calling for lower individual rates, Mr. Romney's tax reforms are "in the future."
The above is the scariest of all. If Romney doesn't even understand the economy...
