I agree, I’m sick of seeing all the pink trimmings on the football players today. If they want to promote the pink thing then have all the cheerleaders wear pink and dressed as scantily clad as possible then have the play cameras pan to them after each football play.......That would get my approval and I wouldn’t have any objection to the pink thing.
Likely simple a matter of the fact that most social services and health related committees have a disproportionate amount of females. That also seems to run true of voluteer groups. This is just from my 20 years of personal experience - not necessarily backed by statistics. This might mean that there just isn’t the leadership energy to get a comparable awareness movement started.
Sounds like you are concerned. Why not organize a group to kick off a similar campaign for prostate cancer awareness.
Why do we need this? I thought that the government was going to do all the research now with zero care. So now we need to donate to the government?
I had 7 half brothers and sisters. The youngest of them was 14 when I was born. There is only one of them left. Five of the six already gone died of cancer of one form or another.
My mother died of cancer. My father of emphysema.
I am going to die one day, when God is ready for me. Although I do hope to go quickly, cancer may take its time. I want no chemo or crying.
Death, in my humble opinion, is the end of this test. I just pray for passing grades, not only for me, but for all of us who love God. He is ever forgiving us isn’t He.
As far as all the hoopla about cancer .... follow the money.
No man should be wearing pink-period.
