... the city of Lisbon would be threatened with waves over 100 feet high ...

Interestingly enough, it was a tsunami which ended the Portuguese Empire in 1755. The tsunami wiped out the royal archives where all the navigation maps and charts were stored (the then eyes only, top secret stuff).

Bl**dy h@ll! Mag4.4! That’s enough to trigger (foreshadow) an eruption.

Location was well Northeast of the main swarm location.
I think it gives credence to the direction the magma bulb is heading, unfortunately back towards the island.

:’) This Canary Islands volcano eruption, earthquake, and maybe landslide talk, it’s just for the bi-, uh, never mind.
I just hope it doesn’t go to the dogs.
Thanks fanfan!

Vulcan’s from Spain are saying a submarine eruption started 6 hours ago.....
Most in the know find it strange....no confirmation.

@eruptionsblog IGN denies detecting any gas or magma release, as said by the authorities. This is unreal....man.

El Hierro’s had at least two fissure eruptions and is currently venting at the least sulfur gas and possibly magma....
Currently the fissure is stationary and the volcano is considered stable...however not many believe this is the last of this episode...for there are areas starting to inflate again.
you can follow along here...
