A lone wolf that size isn’t going to be discouraged by anything other than a .44 “persuader”.
He probably outweighs her.
“Cant blame her a bit. A wild animal (especially a predator with lots of nasty sharp pointy teeth), willingly coming that close to a human being is trouble.”
Rennee is like 59 years old.
Whatever reason? How 'bout bears, wolves or to finish off a wounded elk?
We are a nation of crybabies and litigators. Totally unrecognizable to two generations removed. Pathetic.
Here are some facts about the wolves that were “re-introduced”

Thanks for the help, but I see by your screen name we will have to be enemies for a few hours today. :-)
Not sure why she was out there without a sidearm, I’m sure she will from now on.
I remember all the screaming when the Nat’l Parks lifting their gun ban that nobody was obeying. If I have to use my .44 on a bear, they can come arrest me for it if they can find me. At least I lived through the encounter. Heading out into bear country unarmed is like putting on lipstick, writing “bitch” on your forehead, and parading around a prison cellblock.
My .44 mag is a Ruger Super-Redhawk, but they’re both a fine product.
I wonder if that wolf asked itself “Do I feel lucky?”
For whatever reason? Stupid article. Out there, you’re crazy NOT to do it. The “outdoorsmen” from Chicago and DC are all upset about this.
There was a reason wolves were hunted to extinction.
My uncle was telling me a bit back that he wished wolves would start showing up down where he is. Said he had never shot a wolf before. And was gittin’ tired of shooting mountain lions...
www.saveelk.org The pics there will show you what we are dealing with here in Idaho.
I guess some people think she should have let it bite her before defending herself. Plus, she had a wolf tag so I don’t see what the problem is.
May the best team win. :-)
I bet the muzzle blast from that short barrel 44 is what killed the wolf.
It seems to me that I grew up in a foreign country. The pansies have overwhelmed our culture.
Maybe a different universe.
I love wolves.
That said, if they threaten you shoot, shovel and shut-up.
Just like I do with cats! :)
I bet with a wolf bigger than she is ten feet away, she never even noticed the muzzle blast - or the recoil, or remembers hearing the sound of the shot.
But she remembers the eyes of the wolf.
