It would be tough to get this through the Senate, but would do much good to get the discussion started.
I'd prefer to cut all regulation going back a century.
“Yes, EPA is directly responsible for some of the most intrusive mandates imaginable, but Congress us directly responsible for EPA.
Correct. Under the Constitution funds must be appropriated by the House of Representatives. We are now in fiscal year 2012 budget, the first for which the Republican Congress elected in 2010 is responsible. How much of the EPA was defunded by the Boehner House for 2012?
Don't hold your breath.
If new EPA regulations shut down the expected 20% of coal burning electric generating plants, many people in the US will be sweltering or freezing in darkened homes and unemployment will soar. If this starts to happen before the 2012 elections, Obama could lose all 57 states (sarcasm). Let’s hope that a new conservative president and an equally conservative Congress will end the tyranny of the EPA.
Well, there may have been a lawyer from Miami called Carol Browning, but she was never head of the EPA.
He should attempt to go back to 1913.
