I have listened to the guy (Brooks) for a long time, watched him recently make a fool of himself during a conference on debt reduction, about two months back, where he talked really dumb things, and was rebutted by a number of people. He comes across like he is some kind of half conservative. He like most in that world can make some sense on some things, but the more I watch him on say the PBS News Hour the more I see he can flip flop back and forth on things some of us would consider a conservative view verse a liberal view, or tries to stay neutral.
Perhaps my original comment was a bit to strong, but I wrote it and cannot take the print back from the page.
