Hear, Hear! Wonder if there’s a Republican, Conservative, Libertarian or Tea Party pol that would do all this if put in a position to do so. I gotta have hope that he or she is out there.....:(
Maybe it would only be 98% if the EPA had existed throughout history. /sarc
Behold, the majestic flatulent elm.
The desperate lefties can feel their ugly grip around America’s throat slipping.
Like any cornered beast, they can be extremely dangerous.
Time to be extra vigilant...
Does the list of protected plants include the attendees of Obama’s town hall meetings?
Well these probably are endangered consider how few there are:
‘35 snails from Nevada’s Great Basin, 82 crawfish from the Southeast, 99 Hawaiian plants’
AND they’re willing to line up just to get on the list.
I sure hope that gay wolf grows a thick skin to ward off
bullycide...
Must I?!?!
/sarcasm off
Absolutely!
I did mean the ESA, btw- the Endangered Species Act, which has tortured and tormented the states and private citizens for NO good reason.
“The best idea would be to give it to the people. This is our land.”
There was an interesting and disturbing poll released just a day or two again, wherein 49% of the respondents said that the federal government posed a significant threat to the freedom of Americans. What was the percentage of Colonists who, in 1773 or so, believed Great Britain to be a threat to _their_ liberties?
This land is your land
This land is my land
From California
To the New York island
From the redwood forest
To the gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me.
.... Not if the feds and regulators get their way!
One additional verse to Guthrie’s song most folks don’t know about:
As I was walkin’
I saw a sign there
And that sign said, “no trespassing”
But on the other side
.... it didn’t say nothin!
That side was made for you and me!
Just sayin’...
Just like all other liberals, they despise any successful species or individuals!!!
Thanks for making my day... NOT!!!
Briefly back from the field.
Many other posters on this thread have it right: Abolish the EPA and repeal the ESA. We need the presidency and a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate to do that.
I'm cautiously optimistic on both counts.
