I can see it from their point of view. The Supremes did not create this mess, why should they put their necks on the chopping block to solve it?

Note that understanding that feeling does not mean I approve. The question of Obama’s eligibility should have been aggressively pursued by every court, at every stage, whenever it came up.

But the courts were not alone in abdicating their responsibilities. There is plenty of blame to go around and nobody has clean hands — particularly our esteemed elected representatives in the House and Senate.

Welcome to the the first post-modern presidency. What they say means whatever they want it to mean. If they want ‘natural born [American] citizen to mean, ‘half-foreign’, voila—that is the meaning. If they want Colorado to = Wyoming, it does.

Newest edition to the Obama dictionary: Jews = janitors.

Nevermind ‘custodian’ is the PC term. If you’re the first ‘black’ pres, it’s PC if you say it is. Just ask him.

The Constitution is clear on this: only Congress can remove a President. The Judicial branch has no power to do this.

Yes I blame all 535 legislators as well as the SCOTUS.

Yes, SatinDoll, I wrote my rep (Heck) and Senator (Heller) after the midterms. They won’t investigate. They just take him (Obama)at his word.

“So, sorry, it’s not the same.”

So why did you quote Kreep raising very much the same question that Donofrio raised years earlier?

“They mean, to impeach the questionable president?”

I quoted the Court citing the Twelfth Amendment or 3 U.S.C. 15. Where do see anything about impeachment in that?

It wasn’t the same question. I’ve already explained that.

I agree.

Living in fear of Obamas base will not provide peace.

Once they understand he will not get reelected they are going to get violent. The “Pass this Bill” mob chant will morph into “Racists Killed the Bill”. "No Bill, No peace"

“Intercontinental rail road” ... one of my new favorites.

But the classic “Religion of Peace” from the Bush era has to be my all time favorite. Referring to Islam and Peace in the same sentence takes brass balls.

We need to check with Justice Kagan on that.

I cant wait to hear the convoluted logic they compile for justifying Obama Care. Watching them twist the law into knots is going to be more entertaining than watching the Super Bowl. I love it when Justice Breyer smiles when he's caught pulling law out of his azz.

You nailed it. The ‘Religion of Peace’ is the ultimate triumph of a purposefully dumbed down culture so indoctrinated with PC it can no longer perform basic rational functions. Not that long ago if a murderous cult stoned, beheaded, mass-murdered, and threatened to do worse every chance it got, nobody would dream of dubbing it the ‘RoP’. If anybody did, they’d get laughed off the public stage. But the same people with a vested interest in calling black white and vilifying Christians at every turn have won the battle of the mind; people now happily believe mind-numbingly stupid things, and consider themselves superior for it.

Take Natural Born [American] Citizen. It wasn’t long ago that the average man on the street would not accept that that is another way of saying ‘half-foreign’. The idea that being born of foreigners on or near American soil, raised as a foreigner and unable even to name the right number of Am. states would not have struck one person in a hundred as a ‘Natural Born [American] Citizen.

Now, people take actual delight in wallowing in the stupid and the ridiculous. Of course the Founders were PC. Of course they wanted to enshrine the rights of foreign enemies to father future presidents. Of course they believed in the magic pixie dust of American soil, and didn’t think heritage or a common culture had one whit to do w it.

Thus otherwise intelligent people argue on the stupidest side of the argument they can find. PC and post-modernism has so dumbed them down, they can’t even see the trees, nevermind the forest.

Yet they consider themselves geniuses. Take a visit to one of the many hotbeds of stupidity on the Web, such as ObamaConspiracy. You will see them, by the droves, flaunting their presumed brilliance over against the projected insanity and ignorance of ‘birthers’. It is sad, pathetic and scary. Too bad when they finally see the truth, it will be too late for the vast majority of them.

“McCain would, since he can claim damages if Obama is actually ineligible. But that’s about it.”

You would think that every American would have standing to sue for the $1300 apiece in new debt that Obama has imposed on us (so far). That’s $5200 for a family of 4, which is more than 10% of the median household income. How much damage does a person have to cause before someone has standing to sue them? Maybe we should just file a class action lawsuit to get back our $4 trillion from him personally.

That would be Congress. They vote appropriations.

Decades of corruption and cronyism have left us with few options. The best move we can make at this point is to elect a POTUS that will shake DC up and upset the business-as-usual Ruling Class MO. Given the mood of the electorate, odds are excellent that such a candidate will prevail. :)

“That would be Congress. They vote appropriations.”

Last time I checked, no appropriations bill can become law without the president’s signature. Yes, Congress is jointly liable for the mess, but that doesn’t preclude suing POTUS for his responsibility.

I obviously don’t believe one could actually sue Obama for these damages (though it would be interesting to see what happened if someone tried to drag him into small claims court for recovery). My larger point is that Obama’s policy have wreaked untold damage to the U.S. and its citizens left holding the bag—to the tune of thousands of dollars. It’s astonishing those citizens don’t have standing to sue over whether he legitimately holds his office.

Last time I checked no bill reaches the President without Congress first approving it. Even if this was an actionable offense, you'd have a hard time hanging it on Obama alone. So keep on trying.

Who’s blaming Obama alone? He’s had plenty of help, and not just from the Dems. That’s why many conservatives are backing Cain. The DC Ruling Class on both sides is complicit w the exploding national debt. Some say Cain gives simple answers to complicated questions. The good news is, that’s exactly the line liberals took against Reagan. Didn’t work then and it won’t work now.
