...”OMG Vick killed a dog he should die!” I’m afraid he did much more damage than kill one dog. Many, many animals needlessly suffered and died because of him.
Dang! No rib through a lung? A broken hand is to easy on him.
Agreed.
And they thought it was funny that smaller animals were ripped to shreds by his dogs. The evil this man committed deserved many years in prison and a lifetime of work saving animals. Instead, he gets a short time in prison and a 100 mil contract.
IN 1994, Young had 293 rushing yards and 7 rushing TD’s. Not the runner he was, but still very good for a QB.
Just amazing that Vick only had a broken hand.
As a QB, Vick took so many chances to get hurt, it almost looked like he was still playing HS football.
Perhaps he should be complaining that some big bully broke his back
Screw Vick and anyone who has a problem with me hating him. I hope the hand doesn't keep him out of the game long - he need to get crippled for life.
With 40 mil. guaranteed. I'd wager that his career will be over (most likely due to too many concussions) long before his 6-year deal is up. But that 40 mil. will be in the bank. The Eagles are insane for giving a guy that fragile and whose style makes him far more prone to injuries than most QBs that kind of contract. They deserve their fate. (The so-called "Dream Team" is now alone in the cellar of the NFC East....hopefully for good).
I completely agree with your first paragraph. Don’t really care what happened or who did it. Just can’t and don’t feel sorry for Vick. The animals he tortured are still living with that experience and dealing with it daily — those that survived, that is. No sympathy here either. None.
Agreed, but some will never get it. Ever. Sad, but true.
Then they should get a clue before opening their mouths and spewing ignorance. There’s no excuse for not knowing what happened - NONE.
The bastij will still get paid.
Good point.
The Eagles really were relying on him in a big way, because he was really the engine of the team. Remember that amazing playoff game against the Giants last year? That mind-boggling comeback was ALL Michael Vick.
I don't like Vick anymore than anyone else, and share the criticism that he's not a "real" quarterback. That said, he is a phenomenal athlete and I think without him the Eagles might as well kiss their season goodbye.
Last week, Ryan got hit helmet to helmet in the same game and it was not called. I don’t think the refs have it out for him. How much more can they protect the quarterbacks without totally destroying the game?
Wifey...with some mileage but still hardly chopped liver
They know the way to beat the Eagles is to knock out Vick and since he is so small, they can do it.
He isn't getting younger and his body is starting to break up.
When you are a QB and act like a RB in the NFL, you are going to be treated more like a RB.
To use some Tough Guy lyrics by Crystal Method:
Whats a’ matter Vick? You were a MAN a minute ago!
Should have broken his F-ing skull for all I care . A low life bastard like him shouldn’t be in pro sports anyway .
