That is why it will fail and fail big, this “Palestine” stuff. I saw Abbas on Drudgereport yesterday do a “face palm” during what looked like it took place during Obama’s speech. It was priceless.

Getting back this is why I only accept the orginal plans going back to 1948, setting aside Jordan. The Palestine thing is just a way to create false victims.

You are correct. Psalm 83 eerily reflects what seems to be occurring now.

Will Israel survive? That question hasn't really been asked since 1967.

It's quite obvious the worst thing to happen to Israel since 1967 is the current hostile occupier of the Oval Office.

I don’t believe in that kind of God, so I see events in the Middle East developing rhough Human action, not divine.

“I don’t believe in that kind of God, so I see events in the Middle East developing through Human action, not divine.”

Look hard, and honestly, at the events in the Middle East over the past 4000 years, and you may very well change your evaluation of the existence of God, His role in the affairs of Man and His love for you. Drop me a line if you need links to reference works. John Stossel and Josh McDowell have readable, well referenced books.

Life is a whole lot easier when you know that Someone is still “driving the bus” no matter how bumpy the road gets.

Thank you for that offer, but I have to decline.

I just cannot see an interventionist God as being compatible with free will.

“I just cannot see an interventionist God as being compatible with free will.”

He has given you the free will to choose or to reject Him. He’s always there if you change your mind. His “interventions” are usually aimed at demonstrating His existence and guiding us to Himself.

Thank you for enduring my preaching. ;-)

I misunderstood the direction of your first post, then.
I appreciate the greater detail of your reply and agree.
I was thinking you were along the same lines as some of those who believe the Jewish people are completely out of the picture now with respect to biblical eschatology.
