Two words: good riddance.
is he the one that requested a polygraph before he died?
Two words: good riddance.
Not to be outdone, Texas executed the Byrd dragger tonight also. Perry didn’t want to seem softer than Georgia. I’m sure they will be a question about it tomorrow on Fox.
Now if only Mumia Abu-Jamal would FINALLY meet the same fate. It’s only be 30 years.
One more cop killer on his way to hell.
Good.
I'm pretty sure I undersatnd what the word "gruesome" means, and I'm really missing the "gruesome" aspects of this story. Note that they don't bother to apply the word to, say, the cold-blooded murder of Mark MacPhail. Wouldn't fit the agenda.
Our Judicial System is deplorable. From start to finish, it is corrupt, it has come to where the victims of crime are then victimized by the courts, and the accused — and especially the convicted criminals — are portrayed and the victims, and often the popular heroes to be venerated, celebrated and emulated.
It takes DECADES to achieve true justice for the worst of the lot, and their endless appeals clog our courts, make insincere and crooked Leftist lawyers rich and re-victimize the families of the murdered, raped and ruined all over again.
THEN, when they FINALLY get the killer to the death chamber, they leave him lingering there for HOURS waiting to see if they can find ONE MORE Judge, and ONE MORE excuse, to spare his miserable life?? Not only does this violate the 8th Amendment rights of the Criminal (who is the LEAST of my concerns, trust me), but it TORTURES to family of his victims, and all the other witnesses who are stuck, waiting, perhaps watching for the execution to take place....
The Judicial Branch of our government is, like the other two branches, so perverted and distorted compared to what the Founders meant it to be, it’s hard for me to envision it EVER being restored to it’s Constitutional moorings...At least not through a systematic, civil and political means.
I thought it was Old Sparky, not lethal injection. Oh well.
>>before Georgia officials stopped the process just before the scheduled 7pm death.
Kind of like a baseball game. If this were televised they’d tell the audience the death is on delay and the commentators
would sit around talking about past executions. Or the many well known people now on death row who will probably die of
old age rather than being put to death. (”Remember Scott
Peterson?”...”Yeah, he’ll still be in prison a good 50 years from now. Lot of people ahead of him...”)
Well the umpires could have called this one and tried again tomorrow night but the tarp is being taken off the field, he’s on the gurney ready for the hot shot, and it looks like the
death delay is over. We’ll be right back with that right after a word from your local stations!
Cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal, you’re next. /dream
If I were to be executed, I'd want the good stuff, morphine, that stuff puts you "out there".
