Next thing you know, the Party Propaganda Ministry will be trying to sell us that Obama is more in line with the TEA Party on immigration and border security than Rick Perry is. </sarcasm>
As a resident of northern NJ, I’d say this must be happening in other states, not here. We’re swamped with South American illegals, and any retail job requires that you can speak to them in Spanish or Portuguese.
Even if it was true, the number of LEGAL immigrants taking jobs from Americans here is a national disaster; as a result of both issues, American birthrate has plummeted, while the newcomers are inheriting the Earth.
Obama is not tougher on illegals than Bush was, what has been happening was put in motion by President Bush- but ONLY after he was pushed into it by citizens. Obama actually stopped the fence, so why does it really matter how many we deport when they can and do simply return? For that matter under the new Obama guideline deportation is slowing rapidly right now.
I find it humorous that someone thinks it makes Obama look good to compare him to President Bush on illegal immigration/border issues. To those of us that care- Bush was certainly not a winner on those issues.
