I am not DRey but I am curious. If you “bury” someone you disagree with do you get a gold star, a cookie, or some other form of momentary satisfaction? What is the point?

It wasn't a "defense fund",for starters; it was to help defray her mounting lawyer bills, which, FYI took place long before she had seen a penny from book sales, was hired for FOX, was on TLC, and/or was making paid speeches of any kind. And, to add insult to injury, for a t least the third time: SHE WAS FORCED, BY A COURT FINDING TO RETURN ANY AND ALL MONIES, AS SHE WAS STILL THE ACTING GOVERNOR OF ALASKA !

Her vocabulary skills leave much to be desired. I think that she was searching for a word that word work as an insult, without sounding guttersnipey, but she failed to find a suitable one, is all.
Now that she’s been speaking for herself, I find her quite impressive. It’s hard to speak for another, esp. a nominee whose positions often make little sense.
I hope she does announce.
