And who would those be? I've never seen any FReepers disparage the EDL.........in fact, quite the opposite.
What you said!
BTW, They used to sell EDL-logo items (shirts, caps, etc). I didn’t see anything on their web site today, but I may have missed the page. I have a great polo shirt with “English Defence League DC Division” on it.
I can believe that these guys are not perfect, and may lapse into inappropriate behavior at times, but they seem to be some of the few in Europe who are awake.
...In fact, if you can direct me to a stateside website that sells their T-shirts I'll be more than happy to buy one.........
The neo-Nazis and white supremists groups are trying to infiltrate the EDL ranks, and take over the organization. This is a problem the EDL is fighting to prevent from happening.
They were hacked really badly a couple of months ago and are still rebuilding all their pages.
There are several. We've had some rumbles in the past. A couple are obvious trolls and a few are from Britain but have swallowed the Guardian's Kool-Aid.
Their is an ADL, check facebook, as far as I know it hasn' picked up any steam...
I have swallowed nothing. My judgments on the EDL are based on rational empiricism. I’m not the one half-way round the world reading about their antics through websites.

One can imagine the dirty tricksters in my own native country. The corrupt BBC for a start. Already they had reporters posing as British National Party supporters egging on a drunk man in a pub. He spewed out a few racist comments. That particular BBC group filmed it quietly and then had a field day.
It has been said that to ignore history, is to make the mistakes of the past. Another tactic of the British police is the agent provocateur. Way, way back in Victorian times this happened. It was a place called Walsal in the Midlands, the British police paid a French anarchist to infiltrate a working mens club.
He had them build a suitcase bomb and then the police swooped. Told them it was to go to Russia, not for use in England. They got ten years in the vile Victorian prison system. The Walsal Conspiracy it is known as. These EDL lads had better heed the words of an American gentleman.
"Speak softly and carry a big stick".
Walsall Conspiracy 1892.
Agent Provocateur August Coulon (French Anarchist), in colusion with one William Melville, superintendant of British police.
Excellent post.
The EDL did Americans a service today. It is appreciated by more than you can imagine.
Like Mitch86, I have swallowed nothing.
I am a conservative, opposed to extreme Islam, opposed to unchecked immigration and I am ex-British military. You know nothing about me or any of the other British and Irish freepers, none of whom are leftwing and/or pro-Muslim.
Funny, if Mitch or I were to attack a group in the US, we’d be accused of being arrogant Eurotrash/Limeys, yet you are telling British freepers ‘the truth’ about a group in our own country.
I bet that really ticks the Muzzies off.
I believe there is a video on You Tube of them doing it.
It is a shot at the so-called “Anti-fascists” who have slandered the EL with the “Nazi” label.
I’m a bit short on time today but if you care to take a look back at my pings from a few weeks ago, you will find some big-time EDL haters telling me how rotten they think the group is.
Last night when I was searching for any EDL T-shirts, I stumbled on a Stormfront site. Reading some of the posts, it appears they don’t care for the EDL due to EDL’s support for Israel and the fact that the EDL are British.....LOL!
Good point!
Not the kind of thing that the Dukies want to know about.
I see the EDL actually standing like men.
BTTT!
