It looked like everybody there was a little bit grumpy looking. I don’t think the presidents wife wanted to be there. Hillary looked worn out. Biden never smiled. The Speaker looked smug. There was no organized clapper to tell everybody to clap, so they just randomly clapped when the feeling hit them. Individuals, groups: it didn’t matter. If I was to size up the majority feeling in the room it would have been, “You mean we had to fight our way through a rain storm for this.†Grumpy.
