There is a version of your quote...
That RHYMES.

Ive never been comfortable with the Pledge, it reminds me of kids being brainwashed for Mother Russia or the Fatherland. What a terrible comparison. Truth is not relative.

What a terrible comparison. Truth is not relativeI said it reminded me of it, and that is the truth. I don't really care for it, and I also don't care for the fact that they added "Under God" to it back in the 50's. They should have left it as is, call me a purist. For that matter, someone tell me, which of the founders was it who wrote it? Oh, I see.
Like I said, I won't actively campaign against it, but I wont pretend that it really has some deep historical relevance. We did fine without it for over 100 years...

For that matter, someone tell me, which of the founders was it who wrote it? Oh, I see. Which of the Founders wrote the Star Spangled Banner? Do you object to its propaganda?

I never had to recite the Star Spangled Banner in school each morning.
