Sarah is definitely up to something, I hope she runs. If not she is still going to be a big factor in who get elected in elections are across the nation.

Bingo.

FWIW, I also believe that Herman Cain falls into the “not for sale” side.

Because she said he had no specifics. She laid out the beginnings of her platform in her last speech in Iowa.

Moveover, the point of her speech was to talk about how we can grow the Tea Party movement.

She hasn’t even announced, Wolfe.

She is not in a debate. Those specifics will come when she starts to debate.

“It’s a difficult enough tune - singing it straight and doing that well is quite enough - thank you very much.”

For a trained singer The Star Spangled Bannner should be very easy. If I remember, it is only an octave and a half range. Many trained singers (meaning soloists through choir singers) can go three octaves.

I have no idea why so many singers screw it up.

Wolf has received his instructions from the WH/DNC. He's been ordered to have nothing good to say about Sarah Palin... or else!

I can't remember the last time I watched CNN this long. Keep this up, they might even give Fox a little competition.

It was a very good speech. Probably the only politician, I am actually disappointed when the speech ends, as I want her to keep going.

Love your new tagline.

Sarah evidently wants a different venue for her announcement than a Tea Party event.

Announcing today would have overwhelmed every media story for the next few days, including Zero’s non speech on the 8th.

When she described the type of candidate needed, the one who is a reformer, and courageous, and not afraid of taking on the PPC, I thought for sure this is it!

I feel so strongly that this is her time, this is her Moment, this is her mission in life—to save this country in its hour of need. Ronald Reagan made me feel the same way in 1980.

She is the leader we need now. All others really pale in comparison. She is the only one who can defeat the PPC in DC.

Well I finally found CNN - up somewhere near the shopping channels, who knew?

Now wouldn’t it be something if Palin “annouces” and CNN is the only network carrying the speech?

-- She's talking about `hearing other candidates'. I can't tell if it's just encouraging people to take other points of view or challenging people to see that she's got answers the other candidates don't have. --

Her point was to hear from the candidates directly, not through a media filter. She uses that also to keep the door open to GOP candidates - and perhaps to force some of the established political class into the open where their positions render them outside of TEA party range of acceptability.

“She’s genuine. Strikes me as honest, direct. Those qualities are rare among politicians. “

That’s the appeal of SP in one perfect phrase.

Read the transcript when it comes out. She encouraged listening to others, and then went on about who the Tea Party is and ISN’T. Specific references to ‘inside the beltway’ and ‘good ol’ boys’ should make it quite clear what she was doing.

Yes. On the TV broadcast. Following the speech, Blitzer attacked her. He said she lacked substance. He says she needs to define how she plans to reform DC. He says she talks about problems but doesn’t say how to solve them. He doesn’t get it. The plan is to throw the permanent political class out. That’s how we solve our problems. The DC ruling class will never solve out problems. They created them. They thrive on them.
