The girl is washing the stink of Juan McLAme off her real good..
Excellent speech... she had better stay away from the “Skunk”.. McLame..
I find Tony Lee to be an excellent analyst regardless of the topic. And once again, I find myself agreeing with him. This is spot on! She’s running.
So far, so good.
Next time I hope she gives some specifics on immigration. It could help distinguish her from the rest of the field in a way that would really ignite her candidacy (assuming she plans to run) if she unequivocally states that she will see to it that something is going to be done with our broken immigration system (legal and illegal).
Must read ping!
I’ll say it again. It looks like Gov. Palin read Thad McCotter’s book, SEIZE FREEDOM. If Gov. Palin isn’t going to get in, can we at least get the guy who she “QUOTES” a spot in the debate?
Ping to an outstanding political analysis from Tony Lee.
I agree, superb analysis. I watched the entire speech, and I was amazed at two things.
1. She is a cosummate politician, and I say that in the most flattering of defintion of that term that is possible. She knows where we need to go, and she knows how to lead the people there, which must happen to accomplish anything.
2. I didn’t think it was possible for me to learn something from any politician, even my favorite. But Palin taught me that it is not only important to eliminate corporate taxes, it is essential if we are ever going to fix the systemic problems in Washington.
She shoots, she scores... again, and again, and again.
So if I choose you from among 320 million people to be my running mate and potentially vice president of the United States, you’d back-stab me two years later when I’m running for re-election to the senate? Thanks for the warning!
I agree that McCotter is awesome, and it’s probable that she read his book. His theory that rule of law, justice, and freedom, are the key ingredients for any society to thrive are dead on, but you have to give her credit for being ready to accept new ideas... if indeed she read his book.
The obvious response is to say that SHE is not Reagan. Sarah is obviously her own person and very comfortable in her own skin. Making comparisons ie: Perry is another Bush or so and so is just like whomever is a BIG mistake IMHO. Palin is a TELL IT LIKE IT IS person, a woman of conviction, clarity and passion and I would have NO trouble voting for her when the time comes. But, JUST ANNOUNCE ALREADY
If you think a man that becomes spokesperson for a get rich quick scheme using government loans (which later was investigated for fraud) can get elected to anything, you’re crazy.

She will probably just casually mention it on the local radio talk show in Alaska, just like she promised to the hosts of the morning drive show.
Can you imagine? Just a casual mention on hometown radio and then the Internet and airwaves explode. Brilliant!
But it is a Saturday, and I don't know if they are on the air that day.
Chill. It wasn’t a jab at Palin. It was a jab at an overreaching author.
This is a curious statement. She ENDORSED him for office just last year.Everyone but you seems to know why, but at least he's a Republican.
Yes, he and John Nolte of ‘the Bigs’ seem to be the only ones so far focusing on the meat of her speech.
I am waiting for the “Real hope, change back” bumpersticker.
She may have read McCotter’s book, but this was her govorning philosophy long before McCotter wrote his book. Just saying.
