FReepers, let's assist these women as they become advocates for life.

This is very good news. One of the ways we can all assist is by praying for them. ;-)

I wouldn’t send an ex-murderer a dime, but a prayer that God will forgive them is appropriate.

By that standard, you would have also refused to help the Apostle Paul's ministry: "And I persecuted the followers of the Way, hounding some to death, arresting both men and women and throwing them in prison. . . For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God."

Paul probably considered himself an even worse sinner than two former abortion clinic workers.

"Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display His unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on Him and receive eternal life."

Jesus found a place for Paul in His live-giving ministry, and He'll find a place for these two women.

Man, you guys really know that religious stuff don’t you?

I guess if these ladies had been preaching God’s word instead of killing his children I would support them.

What do you think Saul (later the Apostle Paul) was doing before he started preaching God's Word? He tells us: he was persecuting God's children to their deaths.

If Jesus could forgive and use the former murderer Paul in His ministry, He'll forgive and employ these two former abortion clinic workers.

I don’t know where you received your morality, but I’m going to hazard a guess that you had two loving parents who took you to church. Everyone wasn’t so lucky. Some people got their morality from the television and public schools. Can you really condemn these people for taking a job that they have been taught since childhood was right and good, especially after they have seen the light?

We should be happy for them and welcome them to our side with open arms. Now that they realize what they have done, they will punish themselves far more than your condemnation ever could.

What does religion have to do with protecting the lives of innocent un-born children. Either it is the right thing to do or it is not.

Without the willingness to forgive others, you might as well save your prayers and save your breath, and religion has nothing to do with it.

Get off FR and go read your Bible. Your idea of repentance is flawed to say the least.

Wonder how many they helped kill before they saw the light, and why did it take more than a minute to see what was going on?

My morality may be pretty sorry, but I don’t need to watch them toss a dozen unborn into the dumpster to realize it is wrong.

As I said, I will pray God will forgive them.

Well, here's some more: Don't post on a web forum if you don't want people to comment on what you say.

The Freepers who have said you would have told the Apostle Paul to take a flying leap have it right. Moses was a murderer, too. These women have had a Damascus Road or burning bush experience of their own and are doing the right thing in response to it. If you think you are doing God's work by denigrating them for it, you have a serious problem you need to resolve with God.

Think of the most shameful sin you have ever committed, or one you now commit that you are ashamed of. Now imagine that you left your job in the worst economy in daceades rather than do that immoral filth over and over, and someone claiming to represent God told you that you were just the same filthy loser you were before you gave up your career to honor God and deserved no help or regard. Would you think that person had a clue? Or would you think they were self-righteous and unbiblical?

How many Christians did Paul murder before he decided it was wrong? Are you better than Paul?

How many Egyptians did Moses murder before he figured out it was wrong? Actually, he was afraid of getting caught, that's why he ran when he found out people knew about the murder, not when he realized he had murdered. Are you better than Moses?

How many people did David murder so he could shtupp their wives before he figured out it was wrong? Are you better than David?

As I said, I will pray God will forgive them.

Why would a perfect and holy God forgive them if they're too scummy to meet your highfallutin standards? Do you plan to begin your prayer by saying "God, I thank you that I am not like other men—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector these former abortion clinic workers?"

So I judge them and you judge me.

That’s about right , Lets call it a draw.
