Absolutely. Mexico has 5.6% unemployment. That's down .1% from a year ago. America should be so lucky. They have a "social safety net" too.
It's a beautiful place that I've traveled far and wide before and would visit again under the right circumstances. I've even volunteered for a Mexican orphanage.
It has its downsides, like any country. Chiefly, these days, it's pockets of cartel violence near the border.
These writers act as if the return of its citizens to Mexico is like a return to a genocidal Sudan or Pol Pot's Cambodia or turning away Jewish refugees feeling from Nazi Germany.
It's absolute nonsense.

Nah, the progressive churches think you can pick and choose those, too.
When they start paying taxes like everyone else, then they can participate in political debate that costs millions of working taxpayers billions$.
If those bishops gave up their exalted positions and went to a Third World Country and worked directly with the sick and poor-———— then I’d listen to them talk about Christian compassion.
