She was wrong but the VP candidates always serve as amplifiers for the P candidates ~ So you are saying that Sarah will say things that she doesn't believe for political gain? That is not what I hear from most Palin supporters. You mean she is just a politician at heart, like most other politicians? Imagine that!

One would imagine that to win office Sarah must think like a politician every now and then.
They all do this ~ Perry caters to his base ~ in Mexico for example!

It's no conspiracy theory. Think about it for a moment. Who does the LA Times intend to influence with such a story? There's not a lefty or a left-leaner who would ever consider voting for Perry, so there's no point in publishing it at all to influence them.

There needs be no universal participation. Control of media organizations has already been consolidated. 5 companies control 80% of all media organizations in the United States, and the interests of those five owners are similar. They don’t even need to talk to each other to work together for the same goal.
Look at the way Gary Johnson was treated - that’s how they handle someone who would be a real threat to the status quo.

I look forward to his first debate. I think he has rope-a-doped the national media. They will expect a "fist in the air, cowboy Perry" in the first debate. I predict he will surprise them with a CEO-style, smart delivery, showing a firm grasp and understanding of a range of topics - catching them completely off-guard. They may even whimper and pout..."where is the crazy cowboy?"
To: mikhailovich
Well Perry gives a good speech so I would expect him to be as good as anyone in the debates. We shall see.

It could be that the LAT intended not so much to influence voters towards Perry, but to scare them with Perry. Sort of a means of thumping the tub to get the lefties scared and riled up and opening up their wallets for leftie causes and candidates.

Always remember whenever someone tells you that sending people to Mexico is inhumane Well, judging from the state Mexico is in, it probably is.
Doesn't mean we shouldn't do it, however.

Yes they control Palin. She’s McCain’s gal.

The LA Times didn't set out to hurt Perry. This piece (and others like it in other Left Wing Media) is designed to make Conservatives WANT to vote for Perry. You sound like the Global Warmers saying that cold weather OR hot weather proves global warming is true.
Perry may turn out to be another GWB or worse, we don't know yet, but your argument is silly. Does the media love Palin when they excoriate her?

But what the record also shows is that when power and freedom are returned to the people.Government never willingly returns power it has taken...history makes it clear that power must be taken back by force of the people; at the ballot box or in some cases at higher cost.
