"The breadth of government has reached a tipping point from Roosevelt’s efforts in the 30’s to ostensibly attempt to provide a safety net for the most neediest Americans to becoming an economically unsustainable entitlement bazaar that is eroding any remaining collective sense of traditional American self reliance and independence."

- "John", former bundler for Obama

The scales are falling from their eyes.

Not a good sign for Zero when even the Kapo’s are turning.

This election will be about producers who wish to live in a free society with a free market versus the status quo welfare state dependent class.

Should be interesting and historic.

Hard to believe he’s had his epiphany now, when the reasons he gives for it were obvious to everyone but a mongoloid idiot a few years back.

Rememebr after the 2008 election....all the stories that the GOP was dead..all but extinct..we are all socialists now..yada yada, yada....???

Well..by next year, we'll have the WH, the Senate, and the House, big majority of governors, and state legislatures..

Obama may well turn out to be the MOST transformative president since FDR, just not in ways he would have thought...

Remember the pic of Carville putting the garbage can over his head? Well...next year..he's gonna need a bigger bucket..

Well I guess better late than never. But these late-to-the-party blowhards really gripe my tush, not to have done their research about Obama from the get-go. And how much history does one have to read to know that socialism/marxism are dismal failures?

Pehaps Atlas will shrug at last.

At least he has found a candidate he is not going to vote for, or to raise money for.

He's halfway home.

It’s tough for the ‘educated intellectuals’ to admit to stupidity. There are so many still in a state of denial...after which; they will slide ignominiously into dementia.

The libs never grow up - they just grow old;)

Even if they don’t end up voting for Pubbies, if they simply don’t vote, that would be a positive. Undoubtedly The Great Spreader got a lot votes from people who would otherwise would never have shown up but wanted to show the country how unracist they were. He’ll lose them to. But like the saying about the mule, first you have to get their attention. The fact that many long-time Dem voters are now thinking the unthinkable, voting for a Republican, is tremendous progress.

I am a staunch conservative & I have not yet found a candidate.
It is way too early for me so I do not expect dems to be able to choose at this early date either.

The scales are falling from their eyes.

...I find it amazing that this former Obama bundler could succinctly and eloquently state in one paragraph why NO sane citizen should vote Democrat in 2012. A real awakening perhaps?

The problem with people like “John the bundler” is his own stated history of jumping back and forth between Repukelicans and DemocRats. I imagine he considers himself an Independent at best or a moderate at worse. Either way he has no core values or principles he is willing to stand by. That is the problem with upwards of 30% of the electorate. THEY DON'T HAVE PRINCIPLES OR VALUES. Thanks to all our educators and parents of previous generations that let little Johnny and little Sally grow up undisciplined and untaught about the immutability of moral absolutes. Nice job. Whine to someone else when they begin withholding medical treatment due to age or disability and a person can't be productive enough to pay taxes to fund even more wealth redistribution.

Well..by next year, we'll have the WH, the Senate, and the House, big majority of governors, and state legislatures..

And lets not squander it. We need to put pressure on the Repubs NOW to terminate Federal programs, streamline state programs and cut budgets. We the electorate should demand litmus tests from potential GOP candidates. One such test should be a pledge to return spending to 2008 levels or lower.

And that is just for starters. We need Congress to go on a search and destroy mission to eliminate hundreds of federal bureaus, programs, grants, subsidies, earmarks etc etc etc. The Dems will squeal like stuck pigs... let them. We need to Scott Walkerize the Federal govt!

We won’t squander it this time..because if the House fails to act..we’ll primary them for 2014..also..take a look at the list of Dem senators up in 2014..we can reach a filabuster proof senate majority then..

Over the past couple of months I’ve exchanged e-mails with a gentleman (let’s call him John) who was a bundler in 2008 for Barack Obama. He’s begged off this time around and is searching for a presidential candidate. He’s Jewish and says that over the years he has shifted back and forth between support for Republican and Democratic candidates. No longer.

Why did she choose to call this Jewish bundler John? Is it because he likes to size up the political prostitutes who offer their "wares"? He obviously has no principles; rather, he just wants to make sure he gets "his". Blech.

“...I cannot honestly say that this was a major factor.”

Of course not; thus the Jewish people commit suicide.

I was thinking about his argument, about how Roosevelt's vision of a safety net for the poor has turned into "an economically unsustainable entitlement bazaar that is eroding any remaining collective sense of traditional American self reliance and independence."

It seems to me that this could resonate with a majority of Americans.

I hope that our candidates realize this.

I hope that Paul Ryan realizes this as well.

We can't afford an "Entitlement Bazaar", in terms of either money, or of our national character.
