He shrewdly said, “Instead every time she pops up like she did on CNN.........”.
This is a shot at FOX and her FOX contract, which will be the first thing to go before she can declare for a presidential campaign. That would be her kick off.
Karl does two things here. He reminds FOX that her contract forbids interviews with other networks or cable channels, and he brings to the viewers mind that since she is under contract with FOX, she is still telling them that she is not running, and they must believe her.
I just thought it interesting how Rove circled her contractual relationship with FOX.

Two years of polling and a failed movie have shown consistently that nothing makes Sarah particularly popular, or taken seriously outside a small niche.
Rove didn’t say anything many here on FR weren’t saying. Many thought the Sept 3 “announcement” was going to be something significant, instead of just another empty tease. So Rove, and Palin supporters on FR were both wrong. Big deal.
Actually 2 years of polling has consistently shown Governor Palin in the top tier of 2012 candidates, in fact normally, she has been bouncing between first and second with Romney.
Palin is definitely in the top three, even after this latest Perry entrance, as Gallup shows.
Rove’s fifteen minutes were up a loooong time ago.

I am not a supporter of anyone at this time (I do think it is DU tacky and hypocritical of the Palin ping list gang; to attack Bachmann) If Rove said this about Bachmann the same backyard gang ping list would be in favor of Rove. This entire thing highlights the split that the Obama campaign loves.Divide and they will try to conquer and hope the tea party and GOP split.
