Really -- an excellent post! Very good. And especially interesting if I am correct in remembering that the whole concept of air power and air craft carriers was fought tooth and nail by many in the military establishment.

I am a patient man, but most freepers are not. It does our cause no good for her to continue with the drawn out decision. And this is the very first time I have ever brought the subject up.
I will vote for her whether she is on the ticket or not, because I believer herto be the most honest, moral person in either party that has a chance to turn this country around. I have also opined that if she doesn’t run, then God has given us over to a reprobate mind and be damned.
That is how serious I am about her running, but she needs to do more than show a little ankle at this point, not for me, but for her millions of supporters, who could be devastated by a late non entry. Every day she doesn’t make it a clear yes or no, adds to the angtst of the fateful.
I have had no revelation from God, about her decision, if any of her most solid supporters have then please share with me by email. Our very existence as a Republic hangs in the balance, not for me because I will soon answer to my Savior, but I wont have a good answer for how we let thi come about. If you don’t fear God, then it won’t matter for a while, but it will matter.

(--I will still vote for Sarah Palin, even if she doesn't run--Face it, where I live no (R) can win.)

I was hoping for a stronger showing at the debate and him getting his name, face and message out in front of the electorate a lot more.
That's tough when the media is ignoring you and you don't have a war chest. His campaign has no debt beyond travel which is paid within 30 days. He walks the walk. He got 7.5 minutes out of that 2 hour debate. Was that something he had control over? No. Get out in front of the electorate? Bit by bit he is getting known the only way he can when the MSM ignores you. It's early yet. He's in for the long haul. Do you want the right guy or the guy or gal the MSM picks for you? Are you a fair-weather FRiend? Or someone who will support and campaign for the candidate that's good for the country?

-"Consider the inverse: IF she was not running, being an above board human being that she is, she would say: Im Not Running. Amazing that such an obvious observation, as you rightly mention, is staring at all those people right in the face, and they choose to ignore it.
But..., there 'is' a obvious reason as to 'why' they choose to ignore it or admit it: THEY DON'T WANT HER TO RUN!

-"Wasnt this from 2009?" Yes, but many people have not seen this! Look at this video from Nov 2009 and you try to connect that 'dot' with today's 'dot', and it gives you some perspective of 'who' Sarah Palin is and what you can conclude what her intentions might be at present.
