What makes you think she’s running? Maybe she will just endorse a candidate and continue her gallivanting about America...

I voted in the straw poll today. I did not write-in Sarah, but I expect to vote for her in caucus and on election day.
Remember, today’s poll is a GOP fundraiser. If Sarah were to have purchased 5,000 tickets, that’s a $150,000 from her to the GOP Establishment. I don’t want her to do that. I didn’t pay for my ticket, either, and I wouldn’t financially support the Iowa GOP. I got a free ticket from a candidate.

According to many credible reports Palin has a better grassroots organization through Organize4Palin than many of the announced campaigns in Iowa but Peter Singleton, director of O4P announced that they would not push for Straw Poll votes:

“We’re not pushing people at all to write in Sarah Palin’s name,” he told me. “We support the Straw Poll, and encourage everyone to attend because it’s a great event for the Republican Party here in Iowa. If people want to write in her name, of course we appreciate their doing so, but we’re not doing any push for votes in the Straw Poll, in any way. Nothing–we are not even sending an email out to our mailing list in the state encouraging people to do so. We are simply not focused on this. And there is certainly no organization that is working harder for their candidate—announced or unannounced—than Organize4Palin is working on behalf of Governor Palin.”

“But for us, since our candidate is not in the race yet, we are focusing all of our attention on the caucuses on February 6, 2012.

>How much longer can Palin just drive around the country not doing much of anything and still expect to run for POTUS? <

The 2008 Straw Poll had Romney winning, and McCain 11th...means nothing.

BTW, that’s easy for you to say. Palin will announce on her OWN time. YOU are not the one whose life will be personally destroyed by the MSM for the next 11 months IF she decides to run so chill...

Remember, today’s poll is a GOP fundraiser.

Thank you for reminding some people here what it's really all about.

So, how is Palin going to beat the RINO Perry?

With rainbows and unicorn farts like Obama? Because that's all I ever hear from Palinbots.

No facts or tangible numbers.

She has no base or way of organizing. She couldn't even manage 100 right in votes to register %1 in this straw poll.

If Perry & Romney are RINOs we need to beat them!!!

Why is Palin just riding around the country is a bus instead of working to be elected?

Answer: She can drive around the country right up to the last day the allows for filing paperwork as a candidate.

Is that a problem for you.

Were you going to vote for her? Yes or no please. Just like your posted question, I want to know. Fair is fair right?

Nice post. Not really a lot of solid take aways from today. Bachmann purchased Huchster’s old organization so she really shouldn't get high marks for “pulling together” an organization. That was one of the reasons for the Rollins hire. To get a good start in Iowa. Given the ready made organization and the fact that she claims Iowa as her birth state, she probably should have done better.
