>>Anything is better than unbridled usury.
I’ve been dealing with banks for 30 years, all of my adult life, and I’ve never been used. I’ve been over charged for things here and there, and treated unfairly a time or two, and when that happened I took my business elsewhere. I never once considered that it’s up to me to decide what banks are allowed to do with their own money. We may as well just borrow it from the people who print it. They’re the ones who’ve created any usury monsters in the industry.
I see we differ on the fundamentals and not just the fundamentals of banking.
Sure we need banks but not this current banking system with compounding interest, a Ponzi from the beginning and you are now seeing the end result. Total and complete failure. Had to be and in this case, took less than a hundred years to implode on a worldwide basis.
There will be a fix of a short duration where everything will appear fine, then the pain will really begin.
Live and learn.
The banking system wasn’t a failure until the US school system became a failure. I see it as a failure of the customer, not the industry.
