You'll get a kick out of this...

They’re trying an Obama trick on people who are a lot smarter than Obama voters by attempting to control the message. Then they all run out and congratulate the speaker for their common sense.

Typical manipulation.

He should not have been following statist philosophy, period. Even worse is the simple fact that Rick Perry was more than willing to take a bribe. He is a corrupt statist. We have had more than enough of his type of smooth career politician.

Oh, and I do not know who I will support, yet.

The problem was that he was paid handsomely by Merck.

Merck has given multi-millions to PACs and political candidates (look it up). Funny how with Texas' no limit giving to candidates Perry scored a lousy $6K political donation.

So you would rather the state resort to the threats of the use of force and incarceration.

I understand the science perfectly well. I’m against this being a mandatory vaccination because it is not communicable under normal classroom or workshop circumstances.

The power of the government should not be limitless.

America must guard against Gardasil Perry the RINO, which is what he is — unless he admits the MANDATE by EXECUTIVE ORDER was wrong and bad judgment.

As daily noted, you don't read anything you just keep posting the same comment.

So.....

Yep. Looks like spinning Gardasil Rick’s record has already started.

And it looks like those who have another candidate are willing to say anything to divert attention away from Rick Perry.

When has any politician ever admitted to being wrong? The only difference between Mitt “Obamacare” Romney and Rick “Gardisil” Perry is their accent. They will both happily work towards statist and progressive goals.

......However, no matter how sound the science is and good intention are on eliminating this virus...the anti-vaccination crowd is going to be against it. I have basically given up trying to explain it to these types as they really do not understand it from a science standpoint.

But maybe others will not be fooled by those voices if they understand this:

Also, it is amazing how few men realize that they get this virus and that they are the primary means of transmitting, but even fewer realize they can get related cancers from it. In fact, some doctors recommend that young men also get this vaccination. If men and women both received this vaccination, it could most likely be eliminated, like polio was.

"We would aggressively work to defeat him [Perry], of course," said Terry O'Neill, president of the National Organization for Women, which describes itself as non-partisan but typically backs Democrats. Star Telegram

But I am a Texan who has seen what certain parts of Houston has become. Frame today versus when W left, and I come up with nothing more than a policy of appeasement.

Houston is the victim of local liberal control and the addition of Katrina rejects from New Orleans.

Perry cannot be held responsible for either of those.

NOW would ‘work aggressively’ to defeat ANY Republican at the local, state, or federal level.

He did not admit he was wrong, he just did not engage in a political fight he knew he would lose.

If he thought that this was a good thing, he has deep pockets and influence. He could have started a foundation in Texas to pay for the vaccine for those who want it. Instead he went straight for the raw force of the government.

Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, birds of a feather.
