He's a Moneyist, statism is a second thought. See
#8. That said, if he can quite seriously confess to making mistakes with Gardasil and his promotion of the TTC, and promise to build a border wall, I might vote for him yet. Because Palin's not running, and nothing Perry's done runs up close to Romney's unforgivable flaws.

Salient observation. They’re trying to innoculate Rick over a prick. And both will fail, unless and until Perry apologizes for pushing Gardasil and the TTC. If he does — and as a Christian he knows how to confess a sin in a meaningful, deliberate way, without thought to gaining advantage — I’ll regard him as a viable candidate.
