And we need to reduce immigration, legal immigration, to have time to assimilate them. Otherwise we are burning this country to win the next 3 or 4 elections.

I agree and would like to do just that. I favor building the fence and deporting illegal immigrants since they have broken our immigration laws. I voted against Hutchison here in Texas primarily because she effectively blocked construction of the fence.

The reality is that in some states it may already be too late. If the 2012 election is close (God forbid), Hispanics could be the determining factor. As I basically said above, Obama's negatives are so high that maybe the Hispanic vote will not be so critical in 2012.

Ordinarily I'd be happy to send you some of our excess Democrats, but you have enough of your own and besides one of my sons lives in your state. Cheers and keep up the fight.
