“...$1billion at odds of 10/1 last month that the U.S. would lose its AAA credit rating..”

Bammy hit the re-election finance lottery right there. He WAS sayin’ he needed a billion to get re-elected-sounds to me like somebody just got it for him...pretty good deal altogether.

Marxism, to use the gentler term for Communism, is about destruction. It sees the world as already divided between the haves and the have-nots, and where none exists it creates the divisions. Rather than seeing this as the natural order of things it sees it as unfair. Therefore, the existing order must be destroyed.

Well, I suppose that's the "justification" for their idiotic fulminations. But the fact of the matter is, these folks are not really interested in "justification" or "justice." Indeed, such words have no meaning when one denies the existence of a "justifier," or some universal moral standard. Which the Left in general does deny absolutely (though now and again they'll give lip service to "the scientific method"). They use phrases, mantras, like "social justice" as distractions from reality, the greater to facilitate their systematic undermining of it. But if divorced from any universal standard of judgment, "social justice" is simply empty words, signifying nothing "real" in the natural world, which of course contains human beings and their social arrangements....

I too find Soros fascinating, dear Mind-numbed Robot. Evidently he has managed to "self-divinize" himself — in his own mind. What can the resultant sub-human be up to?

During my college years of long ago, I spent two summers working as a nursing assistant in an insane asylum. There were not a few patients on the chronic ward who made similar claims to divine or semi-divine status.

Of course, back then, everybody knew people who said such things were psychotic, crazy. Nowadays, it seems most people can't tell — and anyway, to say such a thing out loud would be to disparage a "disabled person," and of course, that sort of thing is streng verboten — absolutely banned, because not "politically correct."

But Obama is even more fascinating to me: He is a man without a history. You cannot find out anything about his past. All we know about him is what he (or some other author — maybe his "non-friend," Bill Ayers?) has sought fit to tell us about himself in his two books. (Which probably have made him some pretty good money by now....)

What do we know about Obama on these bases?

(1) If statements from Tales from My Father are true, he is the son of a Kenyan national of British citizenship, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., who was an international exchange student to America in the run-up to Obama's birth.

(2) Obama wants us to think of him as "a Black Man," despite the fact that he is half-white. At least that would be true if, as he says, his mother was Stanley Ann Dunham, a Caucasian woman (who gave birth to him shortly before she attained the age of 18).

(3) Evidently, Dunham had a penchant for politically radical men of color, preferably from the Third World. Obama Sr. certainly fit the bill. He was a Kenyan radical activist who combined the worlds of anti-colonialism, Marxism, and the Islamic faith in his ideology. (So much for "tales from my father....") The story goes this marriage ended in divorce.

(4) But then, Dunham married another man-of-color from the "suffering third-world," Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian Muslim.

(5) As a young man, Obama tells us, he was drawn to Black nationalists like Frank Marshall Davis, a card-carrying member of the CPUSA. He was attracted to, and sympathetic with, political radicalism in all its forms — all of which, then as now, are virulently opposed to the values, principles, and traditions of American society.

(6) He makes no bones about his total contempt for the U.S. Constitution, to which he swore his presidential Oath nonetheless.

(7) Which can easily be explained by noting that in Islam, there is a doctrine called taqquia, or permissible lying. It's okay to lie to "barbarians," or people "outside" the Ummah.... For Islamic ends justify any means....

(8) Which is the same thing the socialists, fascists, and communists tell you....

Just on these bases alone, I agree with you, dear MNR, that our ersatz president has only destruction in mind. There is nothing in any of the various "systems" touched on above that has ever created anything beneficial to human well-being, prosperity, thriving, liberty.

The dirty little secret of all these ideologies (including Islam it seems) is that they all revile God, man, world, and society. They want to destroy this order of being in order to (they say) build something "better."

Thus to perfect the world — but in the name of what???

Thank you ever so much, dear MNR, for your outstanding analysis! You have a knack for finding the mot just — in this case, "destruction." Which is why I enjoy reading your essay/posts so much. :^)

Thank you!
