Fascism, pure and simple. The leftist in th egovernment and media are following the same playbook that Hitler and the Nazis use. De-humanize your opponent in order destroy him politically and eventually round them up for re-education and re-habilitation, and if those measures don't work, whip out the final solution of eradicaiton.
To most reasonable people this may sound far-fetched and unreasonable, but I'll be honest in saying, I never thought I would see the day when this country strayed so far off its constitutional foundations in such a short time span.
