It does look like hatch voted against the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act Of 2007(amnesty) as well as the one in 2006, I just Googled it. So I guess Levin’s argument makes sense.

Not a big Hatch fan, but he's been pretty outspoken against amnesty.

Mr. Chaffetz is throwing away his House career on a reckless unproved gamble that the UT voters are open-minded.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn’t Orrin Hatch a Reagan backer in 1976? Then by 1982, EMK had “instructed” him. Remember how ol’ Orrin “begged” Bill Clinton to “come clean” on Monicagate. And he was the leading GOP advocate of Ruth Bader Ginsburg too.

Don’t give a hoot what Hannity says, Hatch needs to be tossed to the curb.
REAL conservatives or go fish. Enough of these go along get along tax and spenders.
Tea party needs a good strong conservative to challenge Hatch in the primary.

"...Orrin Hatch snagged a high-profile endorsement for his re-election campaign..."

Hannity? Oh yeah, that really does it for me.

"...be sure to vote for my very good friend, Orrin Hatch right after I tell you all about my new book..."

Sorry but Hannity is not my idea of a "high profile endorsement".

They have a different kind of primary system that makes it easier for someone like him to win. Don't ask me to explain it, but it's how Mark Lee took out that last guy, and he was less well known than Chaffetz.

Orrin Hatch seems like a great guy, but it's time for him to go. It's too long in Washington. Hatch is a conventional conservative like some like Cornyn, which is OK, but Chaffetz will be like a Lee or a Paul.

CLINTON SELECTS GINSBURG FOR SUPREME COURT SEAT APPEALS COURT JUDGE, WOMEN’S ADVOCATE WINS HIGH PRAISE
St. Paul Pioneer Press (MN) - Tuesday, June 15, 1993
Author: Robert A. Rankin, Aaron Epstein and David Hessi, Washington Bureau
Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a trailblazing feminist lawyer and later a moderate federal appeals judge, appeared headed for easy Senate confirmation after being nominated Monday by President Clinton for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court.

The surprise move ended weeks of speculation during which the president and the media focused on a half-dozen other candidates. It was the first court nomination by a Democratic president in a quarter of a century.

Both Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell, D-Maine, and Minority Leader Bob Dole, R-Kan., praised the president’s choice.

Orrin Hatch of Utah, the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said: ``I don’t see any problem at all. She’s a brilliant woman with an impeccable reputation. Her record indicates she’s a very careful, thoughtful, methodical student of the law - and a very bright one to boot.’’

(snip)

One and the same. The Hannity that was in love with the cross dressing former mayor of New York, whom he still refers to as “America’s Mayor”. That Hannity.

Big mistake.. his ‘come to Jesus moment’ was over-played and hyped.

You could hear his knees hit the floor on SEan’s radio show as he adored what the TEA Party has done..

Rino is forever.

Hatch has been in the Ruling Class too damn long...he is another poster child for term limits and needs to go and I don’t care where he stands on specific issues. The system is broke and getting rid of the Ruling Class is the only way to save it.

Hannity endorses Hatch during the same interview that Hatch praises McConnell and Boehner for extracting “significant cuts” from Obama. Hatch also endorsed Romney during the interview.”

Big mistake Hannity. I'm disappointed in The great One also.
