Dear congressman Boehner,

Seldom does providence thrust herself upon history where a man can with foresight choose to be a hero in the eyes of his posterity as this current course of human events. Seldom is the illumination of the intersection of hero and traitor made more transparent and the ends of each path seen with more certainty. One path, the difficult path, is the path blazed by General Washington at this nations inception. It is accompanied by much privation, scorn and doubt, but it is the path taken by the hero who leads a nation to liberty against all difficulty. The other course is the one taken by General Arnold, a hero in the cause for but a short while. His path is one of comfort and treachery. His posterity, both British and American loath him for his craven acts of sedition. He looked at the odds and gambled against righteousness for the ease of selfish luxury at the expense of his own countrymen.

Mr. Boehner you have taken the first steps on the path that does not bring liberty, it is the path of General Arnold. Your actions of late are reminiscent of Benedict Arnold at West Point, just prior to the discovery of his treason. The weakening of the ramparts the diluting of the defenses the collusion with the enemy, yes Mr. Boehner America has witnessed the treachery of Arnold and now your actions.

Mr. Boehner clear your eyes, forget your comfort and renew your vision for liberty. I urge you to chose the path that leads to freedom. Though it may cost you your life, your fortune and your sacred honor the difficult path it is the well trodden path of heroes. Mr. Boehner, make today the day of your repentance. Which road will you take, the path of Washington or Arnold? Liberty or tyranny? Principle or expediency?

Mr Boehner, history will judge you solely on your character and leadership on this occasion, fail now to seize this historic opportunity to restore the nation and you will reap the fame of a failure for all history, but lead now, stand fast and rally the troops to hold the line in the fight for the holy cause of liberty and you will be remembered by patriots for all time as the leader who turned the tide and set America back on the path.

Mr. Boehner choose this day your legacy; will patriots future hang your portrait hang beside Washington's or will they hang you in effigy?

!!!!! “reasonable, responsible people” !!!!!
Not if you’re looking at your ‘esteemed colleagues’ across the aisle you aren’t.

I say stop the negotiations,
go to cut,cap & balance ON STEROIDS.
Tell Moody’s, S&P, and the bond market to go to hell - we’re gonna put legislation forward that makes sense for America no matter how long it takes to cave the liberal a$$hats.
Task each republican member of the house to get in front of a camera or give at least three new conferences a day to state our position and why. Publish the names daily of those that can’t get their shiny buttocks on board.
Tell McConnell in no uncertain terms to do the same with his elite f’in’ brain trust.

Yes - there’s gonna be alot of upheaval in the markets and there’s gonna be a shortterm increase in interest rates.
But the American people must know what the liberals are doing to this country so they can make rational decisions about their kids futures. Bond holders will still get paid out of current revenues and THEY WILL SEE that America is capable of making the hard ADULT choices expected of the last remaining superpower.

Better this than the ‘death by a thousand cuts’ that democrats, and especially this administration, have brought about.

We want reasonable, responsible people (Congresscritters) who want this crisis to end as quickly as possible, and I doubt we will.

Boehner: "We are dealing with reasonable, responsible people who want this crisis to end..."

Well, there's the problem. He needs to leave the bar, get back to Congress and talk to the reps about it.
