Amen!
And cut the practice of baseline budgeting while you’re at it. A scam if ever I saw one.
We need to lay off half the federal workforce and make the remaining half work as hard as those in the private sector do. Think of the savings on that one.
2008 was a tough year for me. I did pull the lever for the Republican ticket, but I was voting for Sarah. Some old whackjob dude was also on that ticket, I think he was an abortionist, liberty-hating, mandate-loving RINO named McCain.
I think Gary Sinese should play you in the movie, JimRob!
Amen! I could not have said it better myself. Our guys need to quit compromising with themselves and stick with a plan. Each time it is rejected, send back a plan with deeper cuts.
When we hit the debt ceiling, Aug. 2, or later, the budget will be balanced! That works for me! The first cut at that point then needs to be congressional pay, until they pass a balanced budget amendment!
We will never have more leverage to cut the size of government and government spending than we have right now.
If the Republicans blow this opportunity, they are toast in my mind!
Yeah... We’ve been saying that for years now Jim. Apparently, they still aren’t listening.
Big Bump
NOTHING IS BEING CUT! If you froze all spending ,did not spend one more dime for 10 years you would cut the debt by 9 trillion dollars. There is a Built in 7.5 % increase in the Federal Budget every year automatic,so when Bohner and Reid tell you they are cutting this or that ,they are lying to you, their so called cuts are reductions in the rate of
that 7.5& automatic increase,BUT IT IS AN INCREASE,NOT A CUT.
The Mack-Penny plan is what should be passed,FREEZE SPENDING at the current levels and cut the Budget just 1% for the next 6 years and you will balance the Budget.
If we do nothing and pass these phony things they are talkin about, the Budget is going to grow 7.5% each year for the next 10 years nothing is being cut.
