well the money is gone.. we are just going to have to figure out how to have clean water and air without borrowing to get it..
there is practically no manufacturing here anymore.. construction is slowed. other than blatantly dumping trash, what industry is going to destroy the environment? they are all in china now.

This doesn't make any sense. The Dems get the debt ceiling raised so they can spend more. The Republicans get a tiny reduction in the INCREASING deficit. There is no assurances of any future budget cuts or even reductions in the INCREASING deficit. A pure victory for the Democrats. Anyone who has watched Crybaby Boehner in action before, knew that he would cave to the Democrats and he did exactly that. All of this posturing by Obama and Pelosi is the same political show we've seen before. Basically, it's nothing but cover for Boehner so he can convince enough conservatives that his proposal must be good because Pelosi doesn't like it. We've been played this way before and I'm incredulous that so many can't see the obvious.
Is this the same Nancy Pelosi who for 800+ days has FAILED to provide a budget for the federal government? The richest Speaker of the House in our entire history? That Nancy Pelosi?

You are correct. There are many, many, many of them. In fact, in 2008 they totalled over 51% of the US individuals who bothered to vote and were singularly responsible for putting the stain and his regime into power.

Far from it. This would be a very, very large defeat for the Dems because it contains NOTHING of what Obama or the Dems have wanted over the last several months. The left-wing blogs are howling about Obama's cave and his support is vanishing because he is being seen as weak and Boehner is being seen as strong.
We need to pass this bill and see Obama's support cave so we can go into the Ryan negotiations with even more of the public on our side so we then get even more cuts. It's a process, not something we get overnight. Keep moving forward step by step and plan by plan like this through Nov. '12. It's a winning strategy.
