Lying hypocrites all...
All in all, I'd rather see my money go to the thieves running those tax refund scams than these government sponsored parasites. At least the grifter in a storefront did something to earn the money. He rented the space, hired "tax preparers", set up bank accounts, and so forth. He probably even paid taxes on the money he stole. I much prefer that sort of "honest thief" to the lazy slugs they prey upon.
Lying hypocrites all...
We need to rid ourselves of as many of these parasites as possible in 2012 including the head parasite and then move on to restore, salvage and save our country that they have systematically corrupted and destroyed!
I express myself quite openly to the people in my life that are “tax takers”. I have 5 daughters, they are all married with working husbands, and the oldest herself works. The 4 younger ones got $5K + tax payouts last year, AND are on food stamps. They have absolutely no shame, and are completely dependent....well the youngest 3 anyway. The oldest two moved away from their mother, so they are not as screwed up...lol. How many have similar experience, I don’t know, but I bet it is in the 50 percentile.
At least you can take a positive learning experience from the raping of the taxpayer and show your children what legalized and legislated stealing looks like.
RE: Churches/communities. Yep - it’s worked out great...for Big Brother and the layabouts. For those of us who have to pay, not so much.
There are no incentives to eliminate fraud and these agencies are accountable to no one. The ones doing the doling are dependent on these freeloaders to keep their government jobs. Heck, all you have to do is take a look at the O’Keefe videos to understand without a doubt it isn’t an issue of being unaware, deception is outright encouraged.
I’ve also started calling people out on it. I did some soul-searching to find why is stayed silent so long with the freeloaders I know and had a revelation of sorts:
I come from a time and background where you wouldn’t dream of embarrassing someone in need. You bent over backwards and jumped through all kinds of elaborate hoops to render assistance without making the recipient feel like a charity case. BUT, I also came from a time and background where someone in need was embarrassed by that fact. Not today. The freeloaders I know are dang proud of it. They inform you they’ve qualified for yet another program with the same breathless pride as one might announce their child’s acceptance to Harvard.
After going on a rant about this at a family dinner, I was quietly told I should drop it as a freeloader in attendance might get her feelings hurt. Ha! If you’re not ashamed to do it, you shouldn’t be embarrassed to be called out on it.
I think that having to write a check every payday would be more aggravating, and thus more effective.
Sorry I didn’t reply. I have an environmental consulting business (funny, me being an ultra conservative Reaganite). The gubmint keeps me in guns. I guess I’m like an accountant. My clients need help negotiating the regulations, and I have some expertise with OSHA, EPA, and the state regs. My business partner worked for the old Texas Water Commission (now TCEQ). We have 14 employees.
