All the straw polling is meaningless crap.

All the straw polling is meaningless crap. Unless it supports your candidate. LOL!
As this article mentions, what is of note (it also goes into the size and party of those polled in the article that had to be excerpted) is that an unannounced candidate had such a high write-in number.
THAT is the story.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
The event was tethered to the state party's annual dinner, and such straw polls usually tend to be dominated by party insiders as opposed to an event like Ames, which is more widely attended and reflective of a campaign's organizational abilities.
Actually, based on the sponsor of the debate, I'd be a little concerned if Sarah did real well, as if the Establishment knew something I didn't.
The story does NOT say where the event was held. Ohio is a sizable state with distinct regions, and the Columbus and Cleveland areas are FAR different from Cincinnati.

The elitist are sure pushing RINO Romney; they too can read the polls as well and understand that obumbum will not be reelected and so they want the most liberal socialist RINO Republican to win the next Presidential election to carry-on the socialist dream (nightmare).

Neither Palin nor Perry were included in the poll. Perry won 14% as a write in. That's the story. I would be interested to see if that 6% of the “rest of the write ins” was all Palin though.

It seems Perry would make a better President than Romney.
Romney has some money to counter Obama’s Big Propaganda Machine which will badmouth any Republican until eternity.
Maybe Romney should pick pick Perry for V.P.
To: FreedBird
If Rommy is on the ticket, I will not vote for him.

Hopefully the GOP will win back the Senate and President next year and cut spending. It is sad to think of the consequences if Obama wins and Reid is still leading the Senate. Rommey does not have enough fire in his belly.
To: Dr. Sivana
The story does NOT say where the event was held. It was the annual dinner for the state GOP, so one would expect folks from all over the state to atttend regardless of where it was held.
