I have to agree with you that Corsi is an opportunist, and borrows from the work of others, and is not always to be trusted. Or, one might prefer to say, “trust but verify.”
OTOH, it’s obviously true that the on-line COLBs are both clumsy forgeries.
yea - Dr. Corsi really messed up that swift boat nonsense, right? Searching out those “veterans” and documenting their “stories.”
How dare he? I mean he is not a member of the established media - therefore whatever he touches is suspect and should not be judged on its merits - it has the Corsi taint.

When it first came out, I read Clam Plate Orgy. It was about the “hidden images” in advertising. The author claimed there were all sorts of explicit sex images within seemingly innocuous print ads. He did before and after comparisons showing what was supposed to be the “hidden images”.
I bought the book believing it was true. After looking at the examples provided in the book, it became clear the author was seeing things that weren't there. I would look at what the author claimed was “hidden” in the image, and then look back at the original, and it wasn't there. The author was, for whatever reason, creating the impression that there were hidden sex and gore images in photos, when there clearly wasn't. Maybe he saw them, but they were not there. I was disappointed. I thought an advertising exec had finally spilled the beans about subliminal advertising practices.
I read the entire WND article. Corsi hasn't connected James A. Johnson with anything beyond Fannie Mae. His “evidence” is largely based on anonymous postings.
Corsi has damaged himself by hooking up with conspiracy fabricator Alex Jones. He's trying to bolster his fading book sales by expanding the conspiracy to include an imaginary army aligned against him.
Apparently some manages to find their way here...

I don't know anything about the guy, because this is the first time I've heard his name, but his posts don't scream "trustworthy" to me. Also, I couldn't figure out why he was doing an interview with Jerome Corsi without any pants on.
there is a recent thread/WND article about typeface/character analysis on the WH_LFCOLB.PDF. It shows several stark differences in individual letters - purportedly typed by the same typewriter.
I think you have a similar document - does this same variation in letter size and shape appear on a scan of your colb?
(I recall you having posted a redacted copy of your colb in the past, please forgive me if I have that wrong.)
Amazing isn't it. As a freshman senator, zero recieved the highest pay-offs/kickbacks from Fanny Mae. Coincidence? I think not.
