McCain was the pack leader of a gang of 7, and did not answer to his caucus. The Democratic 7 were not a gang as they had no pack leader. Their leader was the Democrat caucus.
Same today, Turbin and his 2 cohorts all report to their caucus and Obama. Sambliss and his two do gooders are just in campaign mode.
In unity there is strength, and that's what we're lacking. We need a leader. Right now it's MB in the ring and Palin working the crowd.
Not trying to upset you but MB, with all she's done being part of the Republican rout of liberals nationally, should have a leadership position and sitting next to Boehner and Ryan at meetings with Obama.
The leadership dissed MB, she has NO input nor power, so I don't see that she's actually done/is doing much of anything, except trying to polish her CV, by starting the TEA PARTY CAUSCUS, which hasn't produced anything thus far. Don't get me wrong, I wish they would, but thus far, there's just no there, there............yet.
MB, with her part in the liberal routs? Sorry, but just WHAT are YOU talking about? Whom did MB helped win in '10, besides herself, for which she called in the BIG GUN, Palin, to get her the win?
I'm not trying to be argumentative; just very confused by your post, which is very OT.
A proposed amendment requires 2/3rd of both houses, 2/3s of 435 house members is 290 votes not the mere 234 they got.
If he gets his way he would soon be telling congress to yield to UN relief efforts because 80% of the American people want a balanced meal.
