Central Mosque,Up next!
Yes, that is the true trend. Benedict XVI certainly didn't establish the Ordinariate for nothing.
No, it won't become extinct per say, But because of trends like this, they will be re-assminlated back into the Catholic, (some even into the Orthodox) church. The Church of England's liberalism has failed it

>> Have we forgotten our Christian heritage, our fore-bearers who were sent to face hungry lions in arenas for saying that God must be obeyed above Caesar?
I heard this truth twisted in a sermon today so much that I’m still distressed. We were told that it is our duty as Christians to stand up to the government that is discriminating against gays and lesbians by not letting them live their lives as they wish. I heard that we need to stop “being so angry” and start doing what is right (in this case, he meant passing the debt ceiling increase so the government can go back to “helping” people). Finally, I heard that we need to do as the MSNBC motto (yes, he quoted MSNBC as the centrist position) and stop leaning left or right, but instead we should Lean Forward.
I’d change churches (and denomination), but I’m worried that I’ll just move to the next one to fall to the homosexual/progressive agenda. But I know that I have to change denominations after today. I lost a lot of trust in organized religion today.
The corpse is just still twitching.
African Anglicans hold true to scripture and Christ. They have seen the ugliness of life without. They may break away from the corrupted humanistic apostates. They may take over the Anglican church.
In our town a group of Episcopalians left the local Episcopal church to worship in the chapel of a Greek Orthodox church.
The Anglican church can continue well into the future if it simply convince its elderly membership to leave a large donation directed to the church in their wills. Then, regardless of attendance figures for services, the administration can continue to function.
In twenty years? It’s been dead for at least forty.
1 To the angel[a] of the church in Sardis write:
These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits[b] of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.
I thought it gave up the ghost already. Gee Henry VIII, guess God didn’t like your idea.
Approximately how much of the Brit taxpayer’s dough does the C of E get nowadays?
And if the gravy was cut off, would we have a whole new crop of picturesque ecclesiastical ruins to gawk at. To go with the ones Henry-the-Eighth-I-am-I-am created when he started this whole thing?
Boy oh boy, state sponsorship is indeed the kiss of death.
That and Homosexuals have DESTROYED it from within.
Considering as they stole the property in the first place, no, you’d have the property returned to it’s rightful owners who actually built it.
