In case you haven’t noticed there are a lot of “kids” living off Grandpa and Grandma. A few generations back it was common to see three or even four generations living on the family farm with the younger generations doing the work while the old folks lived out their twilight years in the security of family. Now it is becoming common to see three generations living together with the younger ones having no income other than possibly government support of the out of wedlock grandchildren. I can show you some and they are by no means all “Amish”.
