In order drum up support the Dems need only refer to it as the proposal of Senator Mitch McConnell (D), Kentucky.

Instead of solving problems, our elected reps can always be counted on to kick the proverbial can further down the road.

Bottom line is there are 2 trillion dollars sitting out there waiting to be spent. And until the unelected czars are thrown out on the butts and the regulations killed, that money isn’t going anywhere. There is no way Obama or anyone will squeeze enough out of them to where it will make a difference.

Raise the debt ceiling. Don’t raise the debt ceiling, create a balanced budget, raise taxes... It means squat. Because without the regs being removed, the debt will never go down and corporations will sit on the cash.

Everyone is waiting for the music to stop so they can grab a chair.

You have the right of it. Thisis a sick game of imaginary musical chairs - when the music stops, the players will discover that all the chairs have been stolen. Then the real fun begins. Those who aren’t prepared by now are SOL in the worst way. Those who are looking for playbook aren’t even in the game.

See my post #45. There are no chairs. They were all stolen long ago.

Rep. Jim Moran sounded a similar warning Friday. The Virginia Democrat said the McConnell proposal “is not about what’s in the best interest of the country” but about “weakening the Democratic Party for the next decade.”

But I repeat myself.
