Libtard Calies would never let this happen. Though they would probably let it go too Mexico.

This won’t happen. They have been proposing some sort of California split up almost all my life..and I am in my sixties..so it won’t happen..i wish they would save trees and not even mention it until a bill is actually PROPOSED in the California legislature which is HEAVILY democratic in both the Senate and Assembly if I am not mistaken.
I gave up on California 15 years ago and don’t plan to ever go back...I enjoy Florida with our GOP in charge of the legislature instead of some sort of third world cabal like runs California.

Wanna guess which “state” will be the richer in 10 years?

Mexifornia or New California?

I’d love to see the Hollywood small-brained start building walls around their homes - and hiring (illegal alien) armed guards to protect them from the hoards of libtard supportees.....

Heh...

The entire state is spinning in the toilet while CA politicians are reaching up out of the bowl to pull the flush lever one more time.

This is just a desparate act to save a part of California. Unfortunately, we’ll all go down together. It’s already too late for CA.

Libtards would be wise to take this offer while it is still on the table. They will earn more from the remaining conservative counties through trade and free exchange than they will by driving the remaining producers eastward over the Sierra Nevadas and Mojave Desert.

Well, if this conservative area becomes a state, perhaps the tax paying, non represented half million liberal residents of Washington DC could become the 52nd state and balance the political equation.

Aside from that. How could it happen? Can a portion of a State secede from the state and become a state? Like North and South Carolina?

Then the illegals would have to cross thru a conservative state to get to LA.

The show on History channel, “How the States got their shapes” is very good. If it weren’t for the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, a chunk of Northern California, and Southern Oregon would have attempted to become the state of Jefferson, on December 7, 1941.

There is lots of signage and sentiment in Northern California that the folks there feel they are a separate state, Jefferson.

I don’t see anything left in the beautiful state California worth saving... just let it go.

Flush twice and just let it go.

“Can a portion of a State secede from the state and become a state?”

It was wartime, but West Virginia seceded from Virginia.

A few more States divide and we’ll have our “57” ... just as Obama said.

I would be for the split. It would save me the trouble of leaving.

“...conservative counties to break away to form a separate state of “South California.”

The tick needs the dog. Socilaist political elements will do whatever they feel is necessary to prevent this.

It’s pointless to discuss it, because it’s not going to happen. The powers that be in Sacramento would never allow it.

In the next 10-15 years,I fully expect several states to break away from the DC, form new republics and then turn into a loose confederation of nation states.

Seriously, with a FLAT broke federal government more concerned about centralized power, HOW will DC even attempt to stop the inevitable.

Texas will start the chain reaction and then it will turn into every state for itself with many joining new republics based on shared interests.

...and I fully expect a new black republic to form with consent from other states just so they rabble among themselves.

JMO...

That’s been ongoing since I was a kid there in the 70s. It’s a wistful way of imagining what could be... but it won’t.
