More regulation equals more government control over our lives.
Someone suggested to me that this is a prerequisite to changing the U.S.Constitution.
I don't know about that. It just seems to be an opening for more interference in our lives by intrusive government.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, Considering that this man wipes his posterior with the Constitution for fun, we can pretty much start laughing here.

He shall take good care that the laws be faithfully executed, and then turns around and says we need immigration law reform.

It's like saying, "You can stop using dishonest excuses for demanding bribes (engineering, extra materials, more fees required), if you want to. "Interested members of the public" have been local, government-employed regulators and local, established corporations for a long time.
That's a nice gesture, but the eventual shutdown and repudiation of debts will take care of the problem of crony socialist capitalism.

Wise regulatory decisions depend on public participation and on careful analysis of the likely consequences of regulation.
Does he really believe that...........................

This doesn’t read like something designed to change the constitution. I reads like just another PR gimmick by Obama in the hopes of fooling voters into thinking he’s a moderate instead of a Democrat hack.

Does anybody really understand this? Can the thoughts here be expressed in English that Joe Mechanic can understand?
This reminds me of the EO nobama put out sealing his records. Lots of words, but completely nonunderstandable by folks like us.

Well, it’s not the OLD regulations that are that bad...we’ve already learned to somewhat tolerate those.
It’s the NEW ones, and the ones on the horizon.

He’s telling every agency to review every regulation and come up with a plan within 120 days.

A plan on what regulations to change and how long it will take to change them. He wants to rewrite the entire govt before he leaves office. Very very dangerous.

(b) Executive Order 13563 of January 18, 2011, "Improving Regulation and Regulatory Review," directed to executive agencies, was meant to produce a regulatory system that protects "public health, welfare, safety, and our environment while promoting economic growth, innovation, competitiveness, and job creation." Independent regulatory agencies, no less than executive agencies, should promote that goal.So independent regulatory agencies should take EPA's destruction of the coal fired electric industry as an example of promoting economic growth and job creation.

A plan on what regulations to change and how long it will take to change them. He wants to rewrite the entire govt before he leaves office. Very very dangerous. What's interesting, though, is the unified aspect of this move. Regulations are constantly being rewritten and revised. But instead of following this piecemeal, ongoing process, he's setting up a line for all of the agencies to be set to, and then from there, move forward in a unified mass with his approved changes.
It creates an organized focus of the entire federal government in a certain political direction (apparently based upon the use of ecofascism as a regulatory justification).
But for auditing purposes, it also sets a point after which all of this is implemented, and before which, it was not.
Unusual to say the least.

(Obama's)..setting up a line for all of the agencies to be set to, and then from there, move forward in a unified mass with his approved changes. It creates an organized focus of the entire federal government in a certain 'political direction'..... (apparently based upon the use of ecofascism as a regulatory justification). Why do I get a very uncomfortable sense about this?........and what's with all his Executive orders? Well, we know he thinks he's King...but he's certainly slithering along with his agenda..and confusing it enough to make certain whatever he's planning it will go thru without resistance.
Have any of our representatives commented about this yet?
