Romney would lose like McCain because the base will stay home and Bachmann would lose because the media will tear her apart and she won’t know what to do with 5 little years as a member of Congress and no executive experience. Sure Obama got in with a paper thin resume but the media was in the tank for him , they won’t let a republican get away with it. Anyway , the leaders in polls the summer before the elections are almost never the nominee , ask Presidents Giuliani , Romney , President Hillary Clinton and Presidents Edward , Dean , Gephardt ...you see the point. we can go back 20 years with this.

Too early to poll NH; they are “trendy” and do as they are told after the IA cauci. Democrats flood those Republican primaries there too. Then the SC idiots just do as NH tells them, except they rejected Buchanan in 1996.
To: RED SOUTH
While some candidates are busy trying to push themselves up in media owned polls , other quietly build a ground game and even though they rank behind in polls they go on to win IA and NH and most of the time the nomination. Obama , 3rd in polling , won IA with ground game. Huck won IA with ground game and was polling 3rd. John Kerry came from behind in 4th place. Bill Clinton didn’t win IA or NH. Reagan lost IA. See the point.

The trajectory looks good for her. If she takes Iowa AND New Hampshire....she’s probably got an open path to the nomination.

"In the latest poll, she trailed 7 points behind Romney, who would get 25 percent of the vote. Former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is the only other candidate polling in double digits, with 11 percent." Bachmann + Palin = 29%
Romney 25%
With momentum moving away from Romney.
Interesting. What will happen if Palin doesn't run and Cain runs out of cash?

More reflection of Romney's weakness than Bachmann’s strength.

Bachmann would lose because the media will tear her apart and she wont know what to do with 5 little years as a member of Congress and no executive experienceLincoln had about as much experience as Bachmann, folks viciously tore into him, and he ended up as one of the most prominent presidents in U.S. history.
Chew on that, RED SOUTH.

Lincoln had a reputation for telling the truth.
Bachmann the embellisher, not so much. The media will eat her alive.

The HELL Bachmann DOESN’T HAVE EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE! IT WAS IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR. I hate career politicians. 90% of them are WHORES!!

ONLY if she gets the nomination - so far, she's on a cake walk. They want her since she has no experience in fighting and not well rounded. Barry walks away w/the nomination - he'll appear as the stronger one. I'm not having any part of that. Meanwhile all the warning signs were there and the clueless refuse to see it - their 'issues' are stronger.

The poll of 341 . . . margin of error for the survey was 5.3 percent. NOT MUCH OF A POLL, FOLKS.

I’m not as well versed in Bachmann’s history as I’d like but, from what’s on the Wikipedia I see a 5-year stint as a fed gov employee at the IRS as her only non-political work experience. Has she NEVER held a job in the private sector or is the media hiding something?
