Hmm...I wonder what this poster ad is trying to say? If you view the trailer it shows them wearing helmets in the movie...not sure if the issue comes up or not in the movie itself.
Is Ted in the House. (For non-Bostonians: This is a reference to the Howie Carr Show. You can listen to that show on line at WRKO’s or WCRN’s websites.)

File this one under “Irony.”
Isn’t the thrilling knowledge that you might die out on the road pretty much the whole point of riding a motorcycle?
Anyone who has had a june bug or similar insect enter thier mouths at 60mph appreciates a helmet.
There was a particular owner, big body builder Harley rider who was quite the asshole and really took great pleasure in being one.
Well, for months he was never there when I called on his store and was glad because he was a difficult customer.
Low and behold one day I call on the business and there he is......missing his right leg mid-thigh and missing his left arm at the shoulder. Quite shocking as he was a huge guy, massive muscles and attitude to go with it. Now he basically was a feeble cripple in wheelchair.
2:00 one night he was T-boned on his bike at a light by a drunk going 60 MPH, never saw it coming.
Needless to say he was no longer the raging asshole from before.
What the hell is she shocked about? He wasn't wearing a helmet!
It's the same rationale that stupid people use when they don't wear seat belts: they don't wear them because they're not planning on having an accident!
The man wanted to go out head first and he made it.
It’s an adult riders right...I support.
But you should wave liability rights unless blatant and insurance companies should have right to reject...mine does
if I’m killed on motorcycle or sky diving or private plane ownership and i did not notify Northwestern agent then they can refuse to pay the 2.5M I carry...it’s plainly written in
I have owned:
Kawasaki 750 H2 2 stroke triple tricked
Suzuki GS1100RS tricked
GPZ 1100 triple bored over and gassed and hand pipe
all extremely fast bikes ....even today
and I wore a helmet...if not I woulda died way back
I just got back from 6000 miles out west...saw plenty of folks without helmets...cool..fun...I might do it some on a thumper type road bike say in Chama or somewhere
but it’s foolish, no question
my 11 year old rides a KTM motocross 65...he wears a helmet
You know...it’s nice to see one sad thread of death by less than cautious accident
and hardly any:
“they had it coming”
cackles about Darwin and cleaning the gene pool etc
guess a lot of freepers ride
Seems like FR has its share of nanny staters lately. Ride like you’re invisible and EVERYONE is out to KILL you.
Lawyers and accountants on Harleys...
Whats a new Harley cost with tax and insurance? $25,000?
Irony is sometimes ironic!
The person who got me riding is a truama nurse.
Full safety gear, at all times.
That being said, he thinks that if you choose NOT to wear a helmet, you sign a waiver, releasing the state from responsibilty of care when you get squished....if the state needs to foreclose on your mom and dad’s house to take care of you, so be it...
At the hospital he works at, there are several rooms dedicated soley to scooter wreck permanent comatose vegetative riders, costing us literally millions of dollars.
How fast do you walk or run? 4 mph on concrete is enough to fracture your skull.
He’s had suicide-death-machine-lay-down road rashes come in (shorts, tank tops, sandals), and he lets them know that they are about to learn what a 3rd-degree burn victim goes through...
Icky, isn’t it?
