In California, if your labor is worth less than $8.00 per hour, it’s illegal for you to get off your fat ass and go get a frickin job.

Fun how the government sets that all up, isn’t it?

$460 might cover groceries for three people but nothing else. I assume this would be in addition to food aid, however.

People need jobs and CA is working hard to send those creators away.

mission of offering temporary cash aid, job training and other help to lift people from public assistance to independence. Some 1.5 million Californians get CalWORKs benefits.

It's a beast that keeps the state officials preciding over it employed.

Apparently the program isn't working or they wouldn't still have '1.5 million' unemployed.
